Installing the Unified Linux Driver (uld)<\/h3>\n

You need to download the Linux software packages from the\u00a0Samsung<\/span> website to install the printer software.<\/p>\n

  1. Make sure that the machine is connected to your computer and powered on.<\/li>\n
  2. Copy the\u00a0Unified Linux Driver<\/span>\u00a0package to your system.<\/li>\n
  3. Open Terminal program and go to the folder that you copied the package to.<\/li>\n
  4. Extract the package.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. Move to\u00a0uld<\/span>\u00a0folder.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. To make install.sh file executable, use the command chmod +x install.sh<\/strong><\/li>\n
  7. Execute “.\/install.sh<\/span>” command (If you’re not logged in as a root, execute the command with “sudo<\/span>” as “sudo .\/install.sh<\/span>“)<\/strong><\/li>\n
  8. Proceed with the installation.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  9. When the installation is finished, launch printing utility(Go to\u00a0System<\/span>\u00a0>\u00a0Administration<\/span>\u00a0>\u00a0Printing<\/span>\u00a0or execute “system-config-printer<\/span>” command in Terminal program).<\/li>\n
  10. Click\u00a0Add<\/span>\u00a0button.<\/li>\n
  11. Select your printer.<\/li>\n
  12. Click the\u00a0Forward<\/span>\u00a0button and add it to your system.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
